Manmadhan Ambu and Tees Maar Khan Review

Kamal has the habit of giving a full length comedy movie after a strong movie to relax and this movie is definitely an unwinding movie for him and a walk in the park for Kamal. Farah Khan's 'holiday' film - put together a world-infamous con artist, a Bollywood starlet, an Oscar aspirant, a bunch of naive (stupid) villagers, and befuddled (incompetent) policemen, then weave an absurd story connecting all of them. That is how you have this catastrophe called Tees Maar Khan. The word "catastrophe" is a mild word to illustrate what this movie actually is. Akshay needs to go back to being an action star and stop doing comedies! Refund please! - Click here to read full review

Kaavalan Music Review

After his recent movies became mega flops, actor Vijay has chosen to tread the safe path for his upcoming movie Kaavalan by choosing his team that gave him big success in his earlier movies. One such pick was music director Vidyasagar who gave super duper hit songs for his earlier movies. Well the music is out and has Vidyasagar recreated the magic? unfortunately the answer is NO. Even if the visuals for the song sequences are good, the music will bring it down. Also given that it is not being marketed or distributed by any of the media gaints, it is very difficult for the songs to top any of the charts. For a full rundown/review of all the songs click here

Aravan - a 18th century period film, directed by Vasanthabalan (Veyil, Angadi theru director) is set to be next mega budget movie. Aadhi and Pasupathy play the lead role. Dhaniska has been roped in to play the lead female role. Director and his team is making sure that they do enough research before starting the movie. This blog will be updated as and when more updates on this movie is available. Usually period movies are very risky to film and doesnt go well with audience, a recent movie Aayirathil Oruvan (Karthi, Reema Sen) is an example of such debacle, so lets hope this movie doesnt fall in the same trap.
