Effect of media/TV channels bias on Movies

I came across this song in Sun TV's Sangeetha Maha Udham show and really fell in love with the tune. So did a  Google and found that this song was composed by Singer turned musician Devan Ekambaram for the movie Bale Pandiya. Very nice tune, literally no instruments used and the unique thing about this song is it has voices of more than 20 playback singers and all the singers have appeared in the movie for the song. The sad part is this type of unique, interesting songs get lost in the hype of other movies which are just because produced and distributed by owners of big media channels. These media/TV channels promote only the movie that they produce or distribute. All the music shows and music charts in their channel show/promote only those movies and these type of good music is totally ignored or sidelined. When will this bias disappear and the TV channels promote good music.
