Tamil movie industry and fans were shocked by the news - sudden death of the evergreen actor Murali. Murali died at the age of 46 following a massive cardiac arrest. He complained of chest pain in the morning and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced brought dead.
Starting his career in 'Poo Vilangu' directed by Balachander, he quickly climbed to the top of the stardom by giving several hit movies including the very famous 'Idhayam', 'Porkalam' and 'Sundara Travels'. His last film 'Kavasam' is scheduled to be released this week.
He is survived by his wife Shoba, two sons and a daughter. One of his son, Adharva has chosen to follow father's footsteps by getting into acting. His first movie 'Bana Kathadi' has done well in box office. Murali has done a small role in that movie. Ironically, son's first movie has become father's last movie.
