Rajinikanth's daugther ties the knot is a glitzy ceremony

The most awaited wedding in the Tamil movie industry - Rajinikanth's second daughter Soundarya with city based entrepreneur Ashwin Ram, took place on Friday September 3rd in a very grand ceremony. The marriage and reception was held at Rani Meiammai Hall in Egmore, Chennai, one of the biggest marriage halls in the city.

This event was grazed by several film and political personalities which includes Kamal Hasan and Gautami, Maniratnam and Suhasini, Actor cum politician Vijayakanth, Kavingar Vairamuthu, from Bollywood Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, Abishek Bachan and Aishwarya Rai. and many more.

From political side, union home minister P Chidambaram, Telegu star and Praja Rajyam leader Chiranjeevi and other political leaders from all parties.

Rajinikanth in his message to his fans said that he wanted to invite everyone to the marriage but due to space and logistics constraints he was unable to do so and apologized for that and wanted their blessing for the couple. Rajinikanth personally looked after all the arrangements and there was a tight security blanket put around the venue but that didnt deter curious onlookers and fans who gathered to gatch a glimpse of their favorite stars.
